I just bought….
It's been many, many months since my Kodak bit the dust and I have been using my old trusty Canon Powershot 530 that never lets me down. But I promised myself a new camera before the baby arrived. Those first photos are so precious and I really trust Canon to work when I need it to - especially in the hospital lighting.
I really wanted the SD880IS like Holly's (I have been drooling over her powershot photos, they are almost as amazing as her pro photos!) but we just can't afford it right now. AND my FIL just bought the SD1100IS also (not in pink of course lol) and I got to play with it. It takes great photos and the Image Stabilization is great for taking photos without a flash. I think I will be very happy with this! Someday I shall have myself a Canon DSLR - someday!
Oh and I bought it from Amazon.com because it was a great price! Even with the 1 day shipping charges (I wanted it on Monday to be sure we get it before Thanksgiving) it was still a few bucks cheaper than Wal-mart's price!! Go Amazon!

Baby Update
Just came home from my weekly dr. visit. Thankfully Shane came home early and I didn't have to take the girls out today. We have a lot of snow up here on our big hill and I was worried as to whether our van would make it back up. It did, no problem! Love my little van even though it's not a Routan LOL.
Anyway, I was not surprised to see that I had lost some weight since last week because I was so sick. But I was surprised to see just how much! 10 pounds!! Wow, I'm wondering if that was all water?? I know the photos below don't show a 10lb loss!! LOL My bp was okm still borderline and probably from all the decongestants I was taking. Though it was safe for pg it still raises bp - so he said I should take Mucinex. I've never tried it, but my grandma swears by it. So I will be having another ultrasound on Tuesday along with my very last OB appt! Yay! Then Friday will be the big day!
Here are a few pics from the diaper shower.

Please excuse the hair, it's just not growing back fast enough! LOL

More bad hair - good reminder to never see that "hair girl" again!

Emira and Ainsley eating cake!

Snotty, red cheek faced Ainsley

And I do believe those 10lbs have been found! Right here baby! LOL
We got SNOW today!

Soooo sick…AGAIN!
I have been so sick!! Another wonderful sinus infection has invaded my already tired and worn out body. Wed morning I woke up knowing it was coming and sure enough by the end of the day I knew to get started on an antibiotic. Last Sept I let it go for a week without the antibiotic and it was a huge mistake, as it turned into pneumonia. I have less than 14 days til I have this baby and I can not risk still having a cough and a c-section - they DO NOT MIX!
I stayed in bed all day yesterday and plan to do much of nothing today. Thankfully hubby and Emira have been a huge help! Hubby is cooking and loading dishes in the eve when he gets home..even going into work early so he can come home early. Emira is taking good care of Ainsley and helping her with what she needs. Even Ainsley is helping out by bringing me things I need, she is so sweet and seems to understand that I am sick.
I am feeling somewhat better today but am sad that we had to miss co-op yesterday and really great field trip today. There is just no way I have the strength to get out and about yet. I certainly don't trust myself to drive. But I must be better before Sunday, we have church andafterwards is my diaper shower ; I have to be there obviously.

Bad Hair, Pregnancy and more…
Today I went to get my hair done. It had grown out a couple inches and I couldn't get it to "do" anymore. I had called earlier to make sure my hairdresser would be in and they said she would. When I got there, they said they were wrong and she wouldn't be in til much later. So I went ahead and signed Emira in to get hers trimmed. Then I decided to go ahead and let someone else do it. Why or why did I do that???
It is absolutely too short and I hate it. There is no way to get it to fluff up now, there just isn't enough hair there. Thankfully it will grow pretty quickly thanks to prenatal vitamins. But for the next couple weeks I won't be happy with it.
Pregnancy update:
I am now 36 weeks. Yesterday I felt absolutely horrible, my back hurt and side hurt, and of course a headache soon followed. I think it was because of the way I slept that night. I slept in most of the morning til the afternoon, thankfully Shane was home to watch the girls. I totally missed co-op
My anxiety has been through the roof but I still do not want to take anything for it. Today I'm better physically, besides the need to pee every 15 mins. LOL.
Oh and Monique has featured 2 of my hybrid cards on her blog post about getting started in card making. This is a must see and you can find it HERE. I have always read her blog and love it. She always has so many fun things and great articles to read. Enjoy!
Recent Digis
Today is not a happy day
I am sick, mentally and physically and it's not because I'm pregnant. All I know is that God is in control and I serve no one but Him.
So in trying to do my best to make the day better, I am going to post some of my recent digi layouts.

This is one of my most fave layouts of Ainsley ever!
