Happy Halloween…
...if you celebrate, if not then Happy Harvest!
The girls dressed up and went to family's houses to get candy and then attended our Church's Harvest Party. Emira was a Fairy Princess and Ainsley was a Duckling. Here are some photos of them in their costumes.

Wanted: empty Starbucks Frappuccino bottles
Have you seen the cool altered bottles swimming around the hybrid galleries? Oh wow I love them and HAVE to make some soon! But first I gotta get some bottles hehe. Check out some that I have found online. Example 1 2 3 4 5 6 7(scroll down) 8 And I'm sure there are many many more! If you haven't already, you gotta try this!
I received my shutterfly calendars and they look awesome! I was asked to take some photos so everyone could see how great they look using the Shabby Princess calendar tops. Here are a few of the pages:

Well I'm off to finish watching Spiderman 3 then to bed! It's been a long day!

- Finish my digital pet album and upload to shutterfly
- Design business cards for my new s4o business
3. Cleaning:
- Organize kitchen cabinets and put all groceries away
- Finish laundry, fold and put away.
- Organize desk and computer area
- Organize Emira's school area
4. Train Them Up:
- Spend more time crafting together

- Create our first lapbook
Monday- Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans
Tuesday- Chicken fried rice
Wednesday- BBQ Chicken with Mac & Cheese
Thursday- Leave me a comment - suggest something quick, easy and delicious!

And now I must let you all know about a brand new kit available at ElementalScraps! This kit is a collab by myself and the wonderfully talented Iara of Baers Garten Designs! It's called Butterfly Garden and you can get it now for the introductory price of just $4.00!
Here is a layout by my ct member Nancy!

Blog Slacker and a digi Freebie!
I apologize for slacking on my blog posts. I have been super busy the past few days. I have been babysitting my friend's 3 kids for the past 3 weeks, trying to homeschool (sadly slacking a bit there too) as well as designing and trying to set up a couple new web pages for a project I am working on. So I took a little break from blogging but I'm back now and this might just be a longer post than usual.
First of all if you haven't played the Shutterfly Fall Sweepstakes game yet, head over there now and play! You could win a FREE 8x8 album or lots of other cool prizes. We have won a free 11x14 photo poster, some free greeting cards, and a free calendar! You can play every day, but don't be too upset if you don't win, not everyone wins
I have already ordered my poster, calendar (created with Shabby Princess' Calendar tops available HERE) and I used the free 4x6 prints to make 2 brag book albums (created with this 4x6 brag book album). And all I had to pay was S&H!
Also, if you were wondering what was inside my Birthday Surprise Bag at ElementalScraps.com, then take a peek at these!

And this FREEBIE was also in the bag!
But you can get it right HERE.
There has also been alot of discussion about Scrap4Hire (s4h) and Scrap4Others (s4o) and the designers' terms of use. I have to agree on some level that it may get quite difficult to distinguish who and who doesn't allow this type of limited commercial use. So I have decided to update my Terms of Use and you will find them in a .pdf file on my website.
Also I do believe that the designers' TOU at Elemental Scraps will be available for viewing on the store website for your convenience

March 17th 2006 we lost our 2nd pregnancy. It was very heart wrenching and even though we were pregnant again 3 months later with out precious Ainsley, we will never ever forget our little angel who is in heaven with our Lord Jesus.
Please click on the above graphic to learn more about Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
Also check out my friend Tamara's post where you will find lots more information including the link to an Infant Loss Bible study. Thank you!

Blogger Friend School #6
This week’s assignment is to share a piece of your past. Our blogs are important pieces for our future generations, but when most of us were growing up, blogging wasn’t around. I hope that this assignment will help you to share your past on your blogs. Each piece of our childhood years played an important part in who we are today.
The assignment is to post a baby picture.
&
Share a special scripture that reminds you of your past.
Here is me as a baby, I was probably around 9 months old here in 1977.
And here is my scripture verse:
Psalm 22:30
Posterity will serve him; future generations will be told about the Lord.
Sinus Anniversary Misc Schtuff
I haven't been feeling good. I woke up yesterday with a sinus headache thinking "Oh no, here we go AGAIN!" Since two days ago we had temps in the high 80s and today we have our heat on - well it happens every year! But Hubby let me sleep and rest until time to get ready for Co-op. Then I felt fine by the time I got there. Of course I had to help with the Pre-k so after Co-op was over my headache was back and in full force! Hubby so graciously cooked dinner for us so I ate and went back to bed. I just woke up at 1:30 am to nurse Ainsley and now I can't go back to sleep.
Wednesday was October 10th - Shane and I celebrated our 1st anniversary! We went out to eat while the kids were in church. But we plan to celebrate together this weekend, MIL is going to watch the girls overnight if she is feeling up to it.
It has been a wonderful year! We have been together for 2.5 years and we knew we'd spend the rest of our lives together soon after we met. I hope and pray the next 50+ years are as blessed as this one was!
Wednesday was also the day I chose to weigh in and I did - I had in fact gained 3 pounds. Now I didn't really do anything different besides a few Hostess cakes my uncle brought to me LOL. But I think it's almost time for AF too. We will see what next week looks like before getting too down.
I found this cute quiz over at Laura's blog.

Take the 100 Acre Personality Quiz!
It figures! LOL
